Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Rawai, start by heading north on Viset Road (Route 4021). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit to the left onto Chao Fa West Road (Route 4024). Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers. As you approach Chalong Bay, look for signs directing you to Chalong Pier. The meeting point is located at 12 Sunrise Rd, Chalong, which is just off Chao Fa West Road. It should take around 30-40 minutes to reach the pier on foot, depending on your pace.

• Tuk-Tuk

  For a more convenient option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Rawai. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Chalong Pier Meeting Point at 12 Sunrise Rd, Chalong. The fare should be around 200-300 Thai Baht, depending on your starting point. The ride typically takes about 10-15 minutes, making it a quick and easy way to reach your destination.

• Motorbike Taxi

  Another fast option is to take a motorbike taxi. You can find them at various spots around Rawai. Inform the driver that you need to go to Chalong Pier Meeting Point (12 Sunrise Rd, Chalong). The fare will usually be around 150 Thai Baht, and the travel time is approximately 10-12 minutes. Ensure that you wear a helmet for safety.

• Songthaew (shared taxi)

  You can also take a songthaew to reach Chalong Pier. From Rawai, catch a songthaew heading towards Chalong. Get off at the Chalong Circle, then walk about 10 minutes to the pier. The fare is typically around 30-50 Thai Baht, and the journey may take about 20-30 minutes, depending on the stops.
