Travel Guide to Lohapon Estate

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Ranong, start at the Ranong Walking Street. Head south on Thanon Khao Niwet Street for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Thanon Phaya Tani. Turn left onto Thanon Phaya Tani and continue for another 300 meters. You will pass several local shops and food stalls. Keep an eye out for local signage as you approach the outskirts of the city. After about 300 meters, you will reach a road junction. At this junction, turn right onto a smaller road leading into the Bang Non area. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You should see signs directing you towards Lohapon Estate as you approach. The estate will be on your left, located at 2J2X+MJ3, Bang Non, Mueang Ranong District.

• Public Transport

  From the main bus station in Ranong, take a local songthaew (shared pickup truck) heading towards Bang Non. The fare is typically around 20-30 Thai Baht. Tell the driver your destination is Lohapon Estate or simply mention Bang Non to ensure they know where to drop you off. The songthaew journey will take around 20 minutes. Once you are dropped off in the Bang Non area, walk straight for about 500 meters. Lohapon Estate will be on your right at the address 2J2X+MJ3.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in central Ranong. Start your journey by heading south on Thanon Khao Niwet Street. After approximately 500 meters, turn left onto Thanon Phaya Tani and continue for another 300 meters. When you reach the road junction, turn right into the smaller road leading into Bang Non. Cycle straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Lohapon Estate on your left at the address 2J2X+MJ3. This route is relatively flat and offers a scenic ride through the outskirts of the city.
