Boat
To reach Ao Teluk Wao, start by making your way to Pak Bara Pier, which is located approximately 60 kilometers southeast of Satun city center. You can take a local bus from Satun Bus Terminal to Pak Bara. The bus ride will take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Pak Bara Pier, purchase a ticket for a boat trip to Ko Tarutao. The boat ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Upon arrival at Ko Tarutao, follow the signs leading you to Ao Teluk Wao, which is located a short walk from the main docking area.
Longtail Boat
Alternatively, if you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a longtail boat from Pak Bara Pier. After taking a local bus to Pak Bara, approach the boat operators at the pier and negotiate a fee for a direct trip to Ao Teluk Wao. The longtail boat ride will take about 30 minutes. Ensure you communicate your destination clearly to the boat driver.
