If you're starting from Surat Thani city center, head towards Thaluang Road (also known as Route 401). Walk south until you reach the intersection with Chao Fa Road. Cross the intersection carefully and continue on Thaluang Road. After approximately 1 km, you will see a local bus station. From there, you can catch a local bus heading towards Makham Tia. Make sure to inform the bus driver that you are going to Phra That Si Surat.

Once on the bus, stay on for about 15-20 minutes. You will be traveling through the outskirts of Surat Thani. The bus will pass through several local neighborhoods, and you should keep an eye out for signs indicating you're nearing Makham Tia. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Phra That Si Surat. The bus fare is typically around 20-30 THB.

After getting off the bus, walk towards the temple. Phra That Si Surat is located at 39X2+VG6, Makham Tia. You should see signs directing you towards the temple. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the road signs, and you will reach the temple entrance.
