Walking

If you are starting from Surat Thani Railway Station, exit the station and head southeast on Thao Suranari Road. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Phunphin Road. Turn left onto Phunphin Road and continue for approximately 500 meters. You will then see the Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine on your right. It should take around 20-25 minutes to walk there.
Songthaew (Local Pickup Truck)

From the Surat Thani Bus Terminal, locate a songthaew that is heading towards the city center. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the shrine. Make sure to ask the driver to stop at the shrine.
Tuk-tuk

If you are in the city center, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Simply approach one and tell the driver 'City Pillar Shrine' or show them the address: 48QC+PM7, Tambon Talat. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes depending on traffic. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
Bicycle Rental

For a more active option, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Surat Thani. Start from the city center and head southeast towards Thao Suranari Road. Follow the same route as you would when walking, which is about 2 kilometers. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Once you reach the intersection with Phunphin Road, turn left and continue straight until you reach the shrine.
