From Trang city, take a public bus to Hat Samran. Buses depart from the Trang bus terminal and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Hat Samran, you will need to find local transport (like a tuk-tuk or motorbike taxi) to take you to the pier where boats to Koh Lao Liang depart.

Once you reach the pier at Ko Sukon, you can hire a long-tail boat to take you to Koh Lao Liang. The boat ride typically costs around 1,500 to 2,500 THB for a round trip, depending on how many passengers are sharing the ride. Make sure to negotiate the price beforehand.
