Boat
From Trang, head to the Kantang Pier. You can take a tuk-tuk or songthaew (shared taxi) from the city center to the pier. Once at the Kantang Pier, purchase a ticket for a boat to Ko Muk. The boat ride takes about 40-60 minutes, depending on the sea conditions. Upon arrival at Ko Muk, you can either walk to Garnet Beach (Charlie Beach), which is about a 20-minute walk from the main pier, or hire a local long-tail boat to take you directly to the beach.
Tuk-tuk or Songthaew
If you prefer to travel by road, you can take a tuk-tuk or songthaew from Trang to Kantang District. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Kantang Pier. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at the pier, follow the previous instructions to take a boat to Ko Muk and reach Garnet Beach.
Motorbike Taxi
For a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from anywhere in Trang to take you to the Kantang Pier. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. Once at the pier, buy your boat ticket to Ko Muk and follow the previous instructions to reach Garnet Beach.
