From Trat town, go to the main road where you can find songthaews heading towards Laem Ngop. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you near Black Sand Beach. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB, and the ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you get off, follow any signs or directions from locals to reach the beach.

Motorbike Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from Trat town. Approach a motorbike taxi driver and negotiate the fare to Black Sand Beach. This option is more expensive, usually around 100-150 THB, but it will get you there faster, in about 20 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet and ask the driver to drop you off as close to the beach as possible.

For those feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Trat. Head out of the town towards Laem Ngop using the main road. It's about a 12 km ride, which may take around an hour.
