Walk
If you are in the center of Trat, head south towards the Trat River. Walk along the riverfront until you reach the main road (Thanon Phakdi Bunnak). Turn left (east) and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Thanon Chao Fa. Turn right onto Thanon Chao Fa and keep walking. You will pass several local shops and restaurants. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Chanthaburi, which is about 30 kilometers away. You can take a songthaew (shared taxi) from here.

Songthaew
From the Trat Bus Station, take a songthaew heading to Chanthaburi. The songthaews are usually parked near the station entrance. Inform the driver you want to go to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Chanthaburi. The journey will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Chanthaburi, ask the driver to drop you off at the cathedral, and it will be a short walk from where you will be dropped off.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Trat. Start by heading south towards the Trat River, then follow the same route as when walking. Cycle along the riverfront, then take Thanon Phakdi Bunnak to Thanon Chao Fa. Once you reach Chanthaburi, you will find bike-friendly paths. The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is located in the city center, and you can park your bike nearby.
