Car

If you're traveling by car, start from Trang city. Head south on Route 404 towards Kantang District. Follow the signs to Ko Libong. The journey takes about 1-1.5 hours, covering approximately 50 kilometers. Once you reach the Ko Libong area, look for signs directing you to Emerald Cave (ถ้ำมรกต). You can park at designated areas nearby.

Public Transport

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Trang to Kantang. Buses depart regularly from the Trang bus station to Kantang. The trip takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kantang, you can hire a local taxi or tuk-tuk to take you to the Ko Libong pier. This ride will take about 20-30 minutes. At the pier, you can rent a long-tail boat to Emerald Cave; boat rentals typically cost around 1,500 to 2,000 THB for a round trip. Ensure to negotiate the price before embarking.

If you're already on Ko Libong, you can hire a long-tail boat directly to Emerald Cave. The boats are usually available at the local pier. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Prices may vary, but expect to pay around 1,000-1,500 THB for a round trip. Be sure to agree on the duration of your stay at the cave with the boat operator.
