If you are driving, start from Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. Head north on Queen's Highway (also known as the 'Main Road') for approximately 9 miles (14.5 km). Keep an eye out for the sign for Hatchet Bay. Turn left onto Hatchet Bay Road and continue for about 1 mile (1.6 km). The cave entrance will be on your right. There is no entrance fee to access the cave.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus or a 'jitney' from Governor's Harbour to Alice Town. Buses run frequently along Queen's Highway. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Hatchet Bay. After disembarking, walk north along Hatchet Bay Road for about 1 mile (1.6 km). The entrance to the cave will be on your right. Note that bus fare will vary, so have some Bahamian dollars ready.
