Walking
If you are starting from the Banjul International Airport, exit the airport and walk towards the main road (Airport Road). Follow the road signs pointing towards Banjul city center. After about a 30-minute walk, you will reach the Independence Drive. Continue walking down Independence Drive until you reach the intersection with the Albert Market. From there, turn left onto Market Street and continue straight until you reach the coast. Banjul Beach will be on your right.

If you are in the city center, find your way to the Albert Market. From the market, head south on Market Street. Walk straight until you reach the coast (you will see the ocean). Banjul Beach is located directly ahead, just a short walk from the market.

If you are at the Banjul Ferry Terminal, exit the terminal and head southeast towards the main road. Turn right onto Independence Drive and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street and walk until you reach the beach. Banjul Beach will be on your right as you approach the ocean.

From the National Museum of The Gambia, exit and head north on the main road towards the coast. Continue walking straight until you reach the beach area. Banjul Beach is located along the coast, just a short distance away from the museum.
