Walking
Start from the center of Brikama, at the Brikama Market. Head east on the main road towards the junction with the Senegambia Highway (A1). This is approximately a 15-minute walk. Once you reach the junction, look for signs pointing towards Serrekunda. Cross the highway carefully and continue straight until you reach the bus station at Serrekunda. It's about a 30-minute walk from the market to the bus station.
Public Transport (Kekeh or Taxi)
At the Serrekunda bus station, you can find Kekehs (motorcycle taxis) or shared taxis that can take you to Bijilo Beach. Look for a Kekeh heading towards Bijilo or ask for one that can drop you off at the beach. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Make sure to communicate your destination clearly to the driver.
Walking from the drop-off point
Once you are dropped off at Bijilo Beach, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the beach area. Follow the path towards the coastline, and you will find the beach area with its beautiful scenery. Enjoy your time!
