Getting There

Walking
From the center of Brikama, head south on the main road towards the Brikama Market. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the Banjul-Serekunda highway. At the junction, turn right and walk along the highway for approximately 500 meters. Look for signs leading to Bafuloto, then turn left onto the dirt road that leads towards Makasutu. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers, and you should start to see signs for Makasutu. The entrance will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the center of Brikama and ride south towards the Brikama Market. Once you reach the market, continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the Banjul-Serekunda highway. At the junction, turn right and cycle along the highway for about 500 meters. Look for the dirt road leading to Bafuloto on your left. Turn left and follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the entrance to Makasutu on your right.

Public Transport (Bush Taxi)
From Brikama, head to the bush taxi station located near the Brikama Market. Look for taxis heading to Bafuloto. Once you find one, board the taxi and inform the driver you are going to Makasutu. The taxi will take you along the main road towards Bafuloto. After about 15-20 minutes, the driver will drop you off at the entrance to Makasutu. If you need help, ask the driver or locals for directions as you approach your destination.
