Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central market in Brikama, head east on the main road (Brikama Highway). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Banjul Highway. Turn left onto the Banjul Highway. Walk straight for approximately 5 kilometers, passing through the villages of Serekunda and Bakau. After reaching the traffic lights at the entrance to Banjul, continue straight until you see signs directing you towards Arch 22. The landmark will be on your right, just a short walk from the main road.

    Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Brikama. Start your journey by cycling east on the main road (Brikama Highway) for about 1.5 kilometers. Then, at the junction with the Banjul Highway, turn left. Continue cycling straight for around 5 kilometers through Serekunda and Bakau.
