From any location in Jarra West, head towards the main road leading to Banjul. Follow the signs for Barra and cross the ferry to Barra. After disembarking from the ferry, follow the road signs towards Juffureh. Continue on this road until you reach the village of Juffureh. Here, you will need to arrange a local boat (pirogue) to take you to Baboon Island, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. The cost of the boat ride may vary, but expect to pay around 500-1000 GMD per person. Ensure to negotiate the fare in advance.

To reach Baboon Island via public transportation, first, locate a 'Gele Gele' (shared taxi) or a mini-bus (banto) that will take you to Banjul.
