Car
If you are driving from the Kanifing area, head towards Banjul via the main road (Kairaba Avenue). Continue straight until you reach the junction where Kairaba Avenue meets the road to Banjul. Turn left at this junction. Follow the road, and you will eventually see Albert Market on your right, just past the main bus station in Banjul. Look for the large market building with many stalls outside.

To reach Albert Market from Kanifing using public transport, take a 'Gele-Gele' or shared taxi heading towards Banjul. Board the vehicle at any of the main taxi stands in Kanifing. Inform the driver that you want to go to Albert Market. The taxi will drop you off near the market area, close to the main bus station in Banjul. After disembarking, walk towards the market, which is easily recognizable by its vibrant stalls and busy atmosphere.
