Getting There

Car
Start from the center of Kanifing. Head west on the main road (Kairaba Avenue). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Serrekunda. Turn left onto this road and follow the signs for Bijilo. After about 15 minutes, you will see signs for Bijilo Beach. Turn onto the unnamed road (C7QC+6QM) leading to the beach. There may be a small parking fee at the beach entrance, typically around 50 Dalasi.

Public Transportation (Gele-Gele)
From any point in Kanifing, find a Gele-Gele (shared taxi) heading towards Serrekunda. Inform the driver you want to go to Bijilo Beach. The fare is usually around 10-20 Dalasi. The Gele-Gele will drop you off at a nearby location, and from there, you may need to walk about 10 minutes along the road to reach Bijilo Beach. Look for signs leading to the beach or ask locals for directions.
