If you are driving from Kanifing to Independence Square in Banjul, start by heading northwest on Kairaba Avenue. Continue straight for about 15 minutes (approximately 9 km). When you reach the intersection with the Westfield Junction roundabout, take the second exit to stay on Kairaba Avenue until it merges into the Banjul Highway. Follow the Banjul Highway for about 5 km, then take the exit towards Banjul. Continue straight until you reach the city center, where you will find Independence Square located at the coordinates FC3G+P8J. Parking may be available nearby, but expect to pay a small fee for parking in the area.
