Car
Start by heading east on Kairaba Avenue from the center of Kanifing. Continue driving straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the main road leading to the Banjul highway. Turn right at the junction and continue for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for signs that indicate Bafuloto. After a short drive, you will see the signs for Makasutu National Park on your left. Follow the signs into the park entrance.
Public Transportation
From the central bus station in Kanifing, take a shared taxi or 'Gelly Gelly' towards Banjul. Inform the driver that you want to go to Bafuloto, which should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Bafuloto, look for local signs directing you to Makasutu National Park. You may need to walk a short distance from where the taxi drops you off to reach the park entrance.
