Car
If you are driving from Kiang Central to Bijilo Monkey Park, begin by heading north on the main road towards Serrekunda. Continue straight until you reach the junction near the Senegambia Strip, then turn right onto the road leading towards Bijilo. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you see the entrance to Bijilo Monkey Park on your left. There is usually a parking area available, and the entrance fee is around 50 Dalasi per person.
Public Transportation (Bush Taxi)
To reach Bijilo Monkey Park using public transport, catch a bush taxi from Kiang Central heading to Serrekunda. Inform the driver you are going to Bijilo Monkey Park. The fare is typically about 20-30 Dalasi. Once you reach Serrekunda, you may need to take a local taxi or walk to the park entrance, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main road. Make sure to factor in the cost of the entrance fee, which is approximately 50 Dalasi.
Walking
If you are adventurous and prefer to walk, you can take a bush taxi to Serrekunda and then walk to Bijilo Monkey Park. From the main road in Serrekunda, head towards the coastal area and follow the signs pointing towards the park. It is about a 1.5-kilometer walk and should take around 20-30 minutes. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
