If you are traveling by car, start from the main road in Kombo South. Head towards the coastal area, specifically to Tanji Beach. Follow the signs towards Tanji and continue along the coastal road. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach the Tanji Fishing Village. Here, you can find parking near the beach. From the beach, you can hire a local boat (pirogue) to take you to the Bijol Islands. The boat ride typically costs around 300-500 GMD per person and takes approximately 15 minutes.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, catch a 'Gele-Gele' (shared taxi) that goes to Tanji from any major stop in Kombo South. The fare is usually around 20-30 GMD. Once you arrive at Tanji, walk towards the beach where you will find boats heading to Bijol Islands. Negotiate the fare for the boat trip, which will be around 300-500 GMD per person, and enjoy a 15-minute ride to the islands.

Walking to the Beach
If you prefer, once you reach Tanji Fishing Village, you can walk to the beach from the village center. The beach is only a 5-10 minute walk from the village, and it’s a scenic route. Once at the beach, you will find local fishermen and boat operators ready to take you to Bijol Islands.
