From the center of Lamin, head towards the main road, which is the Lamin Road. Walk east until you reach the junction with the Bertil Harding Highway. Turn left onto Bertil Harding Highway and continue walking along the roadside. You will pass several local shops and small restaurants. Keep walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating 'Serrekunda' and follow them. As you approach Serrekunda, keep an eye out for the Kotu Stream. Kotu Bridge will be located near the stream, marked as F76W+J2V on your right side. Cross the bridge to enjoy the views and take photos.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Lamin. Start at the Lamin Road and head east until you reach the Bertil Harding Highway. Turn left onto the highway and cycle along the road, adhering to traffic rules. After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll see signs pointing towards Serrekunda. Continue cycling until you reach the Kotu Stream. The Kotu Bridge will be on your right side, identifiable by its location marked as F76W+J2V. Be cautious of pedestrians and enjoy your ride!
Public Transport
To get to Kotu Bridge using public transport, walk to the Lamin bus stop located near the main road. Catch a local 'Geleh' minibus heading towards Serrekunda. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Kotu Bridge or near the Kotu Stream. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, get off at the stop closest to the stream. Walk towards the bridge, which will be visible from the road. Kotu Bridge is marked as F76W+J2V, and you can enjoy the views of the surrounding area.
