Follow the road until you reach the junction with the road to Kerewan. Turn left onto this road. Continue straight until you reach the riverbank near the ferry crossing point to Dankunku Island. There may be a small toll fee for using the ferry, typically around 50 Dalasi per person. Once at the ferry station, you can board the boat that will take you directly to Dankunku Island.

For travelers using public transportation, start by taking a local 'bush taxi' from the center of Niamina Dankunku towards Kerewan. Ensure to inform the driver that you want to get off at the ferry crossing point to Dankunku Island. The fare for this trip is usually around 20 Dalasi. Once you arrive at the ferry station, you will need to pay a small fee for the ferry ride to Dankunku Island, which is approximately 50 Dalasi per person. The ferry will take you directly to the island.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from the center of Niamina Dankunku and head towards the riverbank where the ferry crossing is located. This is a longer journey (around 5 km), so it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated. Upon reaching the ferry station, pay the 50 Dalasi fee to cross over to Dankunku Island. The walk will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace.
