Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Upper Baddibu, head south on the main road heading towards Serrekunda. Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Serrekunda. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Bakadaji Hotel. Turn left onto the street that leads to the hotel entrance, which will be on your right shortly after. Parking is available at the hotel.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Bakadaji Hotel by public transportation, locate the nearest bush taxi (shared taxi) station in Upper Baddibu. You will want to take a bush taxi heading towards Serrekunda. The fare is generally around 20-30 Dalasi. Inform the driver that you are going to Bakadaji Hotel. Once you arrive in Serrekunda, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the hotel. From there, it is a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the hotel entrance. Keep in mind that the bush taxi may stop frequently to pick up or drop off other passengers.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, you can ride a bicycle from Upper Baddibu to Bakadaji Hotel. Follow the same route as for cars, heading south towards Serrekunda. The total distance is around 15 kilometers. It can take approximately 1 hour depending on your pace. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you have appropriate safety gear.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk, it is advisable to start early in the morning from Upper Baddibu to Bakadaji Hotel. The walk is approximately 15 kilometers and will take around 3-4 hours. Follow the main road south towards Serrekunda, ensuring you stay on the path and be aware of traffic. It is beneficial to have a local map or download offline maps of the area to help navigate.
