Car
To reach Arch 22 by car from Upper Saloum, start by heading south on the main road towards Banjul. The journey is approximately 150 km and will take about 2.5 to 3 hours. Follow the signs towards Banjul, passing through towns such as Bansang and Serekunda. As you approach Banjul, take the exit towards the city center. Continue driving until you reach the coordinates FC69+42M, which is the location of Arch 22. There is parking available nearby, but be prepared to pay a small fee for parking.

From Upper Saloum, you can take a bush taxi to Banjul. Head to the nearest bush taxi station and find a taxi heading towards Banjul. The fare is approximately 100-150 Gambian Dalasi per person and the ride may take 3 to 4 hours depending on the number of stops. Once you arrive in Banjul, ask the driver to drop you off near Arch 22 or in the city center. From there, you can walk to Arch 22, which is just a few minutes away. Be sure to check with locals for the best walking route.
