Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Aileu, at the main square (Praça de Aileu). Head towards the east on the main road (Avenida de Aileu) for about 500 meters until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn right onto the road that leads towards Dili. Continue walking straight for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for signs pointing to Dili, as you will be following the main road. As you get closer to Dili, you will pass by several local shops and small eateries. Once you reach the outskirts of Dili, keep walking straight for another 1 kilometer. You will see a park area on your left, which is Largo de Lecidere. The entrance is marked, and it should be an inviting green space where you can relax.

Bicycle
If you are comfortable biking, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Aileu. Start at Praça de Aileu and head towards Avenida de Aileu. Follow the same route as walking, but on a bicycle, you can cover the distance quicker. Maintain a steady pace as you travel along the main road towards Dili. After about 3 kilometers, you’ll notice the road will begin to change into a busier area. Keep to the right side of the road for safety. When you reach the outskirts of Dili, continue for another kilometer, and you should see Largo de Lecidere on your left. Make sure to park your bicycle at the designated area before entering the park.

Public Transportation (Mini-bus)
From Aileu, find the mini-bus terminal located near Praça de Aileu. Look for a mini-bus heading towards Dili. The fare is usually very affordable, and the journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Dili, ask the driver to drop you off near Largo de Lecidere or at the closest stop. After disembarking, walk towards the park, which should be within a few minutes' walk from the drop-off point. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
