    Start at the center of Aileu, near the main market. Head east on the main road (R. Formosa) towards Dili. Continue walking straight for about 40 minutes. You will pass a few local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Dili. As you approach the outskirts of Dili, you will notice the area becoming more urban. Once you reach the intersection with the R. Formosa, turn left. The Timorese Resistance Archive & Museum will be on your right, at R. Formosa 4.

    Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the center of Aileu, near the main market. Ride east on the main road (R. Formosa) towards Dili for approximately 40 minutes. Stay on R. Formosa, and you will pass local shops and residential areas. As you get closer to Dili, the road will become busier. Turn left at the intersection of R. Formosa, and the museum will be on your right at R. Formosa 4.
