Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the central area of Dili, specifically near the Dili Cathedral. Head south towards Avenida de Portugal. Continue straight on Avenida de Portugal until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Avenida Governador Alves Aldeia. At the roundabout, take the exit onto Avenida Governador Alves Aldeia. Follow the avenue for about 1 kilometer. You will notice the beach area on your right side. Continue walking until you reach the end of the avenue, and you will find yourself at Palacio Beach.

  • Public Transportation (Minibus)

    From the central market in Dili, find a minibus heading towards the coast or 'Praia' route. Get on the minibus and inform the driver that you want to go to 'Palacio Beach' or 'Avenida Governador Alves Aldeia'. Remain on the minibus until it reaches the beach area. Once you get off, walk towards the water, and you will find Palacio Beach directly ahead.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central area of Dili, riding south along Avenida de Portugal. Continue along the road, and then merge onto Avenida Governador Alves Aldeia. The ride will take you approximately 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for Palacio Beach on your right as you approach the end of the avenue.
