Walking
From Gleno, start at the main square and head southeast on the main road (Avenue 28 de Novembro) towards Dili. This road will gradually lead you down the hill towards the coast. Continue walking for about 12 kilometers. As you enter Dili, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Cristo Rei. When nearing the coast, you will see the Cristo Rei statue in the distance. Head towards the coastline and follow any local signage that directs you to the statue.

From Gleno, you can catch a minibus (often called 'mikrolet') heading towards Dili. Look for a minibus with 'Dili' written on it. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once in Dili, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Cristo Rei or at the beach area. You may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the statue. Follow the coastal road, and you will eventually reach Cristo Rei.
