Car
If you are driving from the center of Manatuto, head east on the main road (Avenida de Portugal) towards Itihuli. Continue straight for about 12 km until you reach the turn-off for Unnamed Road. Look for the sign for Manatuto Lookout. Turn left onto this road and follow it for approximately 2 km until you reach the lookout. There is no entrance fee, but ensure your vehicle has enough fuel for the trip.
Public Transportation
To reach Manatuto Lookout via public transportation, take a 'microlet' (shared taxi) heading towards Itihuli from the main taxi stand in Manatuto. The fare is around 1 USD. Inform the driver that you want to go to Manatuto Lookout. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Itihuli, you may need to walk or hire a local motorcycle taxi (ojek) to cover the last 2 km to the lookout, which should cost about 2 USD.
