Getting There

    From the center of Bassar, head southwest on Avenue de l'Indépendance towards Rue des Martyrs. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 1. Turn left onto Route Nationale 1 and drive for approximately 6 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Boulohou, where you will turn right onto a smaller road leading towards Cascade de Sako. Follow this road for another 3 kilometers until you reach the waterfall. Be cautious as the road can be bumpy. Parking is available near the waterfall.

    Start at the main bus station in Bassar. Look for shared taxis or bush taxis heading to Boulohou. The fare should be around 500 CFA francs. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once in Boulohou, ask locals for directions to Cascade de Sako. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the main road, and you may need to hire a local guide to assist you in navigating the area.
