If you are driving from Bassar, start by heading southeast on the main road toward Niamtougou. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork to continue toward Niamtougou. As you approach Niamtougou, look for the sign indicating Cascade de Yaka. Follow the signs for another 5 kilometers until you arrive at the waterfall. Parking is available nearby. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel as there may not be many gas stations along the way.

To reach Cascade de Yaka by public transportation, take a shared taxi (bush taxi) from Bassar to Niamtougou. The shared taxis can be found at the main taxi stand in Bassar. The fare is typically around 500-1000 CFA francs depending on the number of passengers. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Niamtougou, you will need to take a motorcycle taxi (called 'zemidjan') for the remaining 5 kilometers to Cascade de Yaka. The motorcycle taxi fare is around 1000-1500 CFA francs.
