Car
From Bassar town center, head east towards the N1 highway. Continue on N1 for approximately 15 km until you reach the junction for Kokbété. Turn left onto the road leading to Kokbété. After about 5 km, you will see signs for Forêt d'Abdoulaye. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the entrance of the forest.
Public Transportation
From Bassar, find a local taxi-brousse (shared minibus) heading to Kokbété. These can usually be found near the main market or central bus station. The fare should be around 500-1,000 CFA Francs. Once you reach Kokbété, ask the driver or locals for directions to Forêt d'Abdoulaye, which is about 5 km away. You may need to walk or hire a motorcycle taxi (moto) for a small fee of approximately 500 CFA Francs to reach the entrance of the forest.
Walking
If you are already in Kokbété, Forêt d'Abdoulaye is accessible on foot. Head south from the center of Kokbété village, following the main path for about 5 km. The forest entrance is well-marked and is a popular spot among locals, so don't hesitate to ask for directions if needed.
