From the center of Bassar, head south on the main road towards Ilé. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers. As you approach the outskirts of Ilé, look for a sign indicating 'Point de bœuf' or ask locals for directions. Turn left onto the dirt road that leads to the hiking area. This road may be bumpy, so drive carefully. There is no entry fee to access Point de bœuf.

Start at the main market in Bassar and locate the shared taxi station. Take a shared taxi heading towards Ilé. The fare is usually around 500 CFA francs. Inform the driver that you are going to Point de bœuf. Once you arrive in Ilé, you may need to walk or hire a local motorcycle taxi (often called 'zemidjan') to take you to the hiking area, which should cost around 1000 CFA francs.
