Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Atakpamé in the Central Region. Head north on the N1 road towards the border with Ghana. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for Mount Afadja. Turn left onto the D12 road and follow the signs for Mount Afadja. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes. Be prepared for a steep ascent as you approach the mountain.

Public Transportation
To reach Mount Afadja via public transportation, take a shared taxi (or 'sept-place') from Atakpamé to the nearby town of Agou. The fare is usually around 1,500 CFA francs. From Agou, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (known locally as 'zemidjan') to take you directly to Mount Afadja, which will cost about 2,000 CFA francs. The total travel time should be around 1.5 to 2 hours.
