Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the center of Kpalimé, specifically from the main market area known as 'Marché de Kpalimé'. Head northwest towards Avenue du 4 Août. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Ecoles. Turn left onto Rue des Ecoles and follow it until you reach a small bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight along the dirt path. You will see local houses and gardens along the way. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at a fork in the road. Take the right path and continue walking for another 15 minutes. The sound of the waterfall will guide you. Follow the path that leads downhill, and you will reach Cascade de Womé.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kpalimé. Start from the center of Kpalimé, riding northwest along Avenue du 4 Août. Keep an eye out for pedestrians and market activity. After about 10 minutes, turn left onto Rue des Ecoles. Continue cycling until you cross a small bridge. After crossing, take the right path at the fork and cycle downhill for about 15-20 minutes. Stay on this path until you hear the sound of the waterfall. You will find a designated area to lock your bike before descending to Cascade de Womé.

For a faster option, you can take a mototaxi (also known as 'zemidjan'). From the main market area in Kpalimé, find a mototaxi stand or flag down a mototaxi. Tell the driver you want to go to Cascade de Womé. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. The driver will take you close to the entrance of the waterfall area. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your trip. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the waterfall itself.
