    If you're starting from the Lomé Grand Market, head northeast on Rue du Commerce, continuing until you reach the intersection with Avenue 2 Fevrier. Turn left onto Avenue 2 Fevrier, and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see the Monument de l'independance on your right side, just before reaching the roundabout.

    From the Togo National Museum, exit the museum and turn left onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue 2 Fevrier. Turn right onto Avenue 2 Fevrier and continue walking for about 600 meters. The Monument de l'independance will be on your left, near the roundabout.
