Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the central part of Lomé, head towards the Avenue Moussa Tavele. Walk along this avenue until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de la République. Turn left onto Boulevard de la République and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass various shops and local eateries along the way. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rue de l'Indépendance. Follow this street until you see the signs for Quartier Hédzranawoé. The market will be located on your right after you pass the local school.

• Walking

  If you are near the Lomé Grand Market, you can walk to Hedzranawoe Market. Exit the Grand Market and head south towards Avenue de la Réunification. Turn left onto Avenue de la Réunification and continue walking for about 800 meters. Keep an eye out for local vendors selling fruits and vegetables along the way. Once you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rue de l'Indépendance and continue until you see the signs for Quartier Hédzranawoé. The market will be on your left.

• Public Transport (Taxi)

  If you prefer to take a taxi, you can find one at various taxi stands throughout Lomé. Make sure to tell the driver 'Hédzranawoé Market' or show them the address: Quartier Hédzranawoé, Lomé. The taxi ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Upon arrival, ensure you have small change to pay the driver.

• Public Transport (Shared Taxi)

  To use a shared taxi, head to any main taxi station in Lomé, such as the station near the Grand Market. Look for a taxi heading towards Hédzranawoé. Share taxis typically fill up with passengers before departing, so it may take a little time. Once the taxi is full, it will take you directly to Hédzranawoé Market. The fare is usually cheaper than a private taxi.
