    If you are starting from the central market (Marche de Lomé), head east on Avenue du Général de Gaulle toward Rue des Frères. Continue straight until you reach Avenue 2 Fevrier. Turn left onto Avenue 2 Fevrier and walk for about 15 minutes. The Independence Monument will be on your right. Look for the tall monument with a green dome.
