Walking
If you're starting from the main village of Neiafu, head south on the main road towards the east coast. Continue walking until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left path, which leads you towards Taufa'ahau Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass by local shops and houses. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Ha'amonga 'a Maui Trilithon. After about 20 minutes of walking, you should start to see the trilithon in the distance. It will be on your right side as you approach.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Neiafu and head south on the main road. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path toward Taufa'ahau Road. Cycling along this road is quite pleasant and offers a view of the local scenery. After approximately 15 minutes of cycling, you will see the Ha'amonga 'a Maui Trilithon on your right. Make sure to stop and take photos!
Local Bus
From Neiafu, catch a local bus heading south towards Niutoua. Buses are available at regular intervals throughout the day. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop closest to Ha'amonga 'a Maui Trilithon. The ride should take around 30 minutes. Once you get off, walk back a short distance on the main road, and the trilithon will be visible on your left. It's a short, easy walk from the bus stop.
