Car
If you are driving to the Royal Tombs, start from Nuku'alofa city center. Head southwest on Vuna Rd towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Laifone Rd. Turn left onto Laifone Rd. Follow Laifone Rd for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Royal Tombs, located at the address VQ7W+JC6. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Royal Tombs using public transportation, take a local bus from Nuku'alofa city center heading towards the western suburbs. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know when to get off at Laifone Rd. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, walk about 200 meters down Laifone Rd, and you will see the Royal Tombs on your left. The bus fare is generally affordable, around 2-3 TOP (Tongan Paʻanga).
Walking
If you're already in Nuku'alofa and prefer to walk, start at the central market and head southwest on Vuna Rd. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Laifone Rd intersection. Turn left onto Laifone Rd and follow it for another kilometer. The Royal Tombs will be on your left. This walk will take approximately 25-30 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the local sights along the way.
