Getting there

Walking

From Neiafu, head towards the main road (Hala Sia) and follow it south out of town. Continue walking along the road for approximately 7 kilometers until you reach the village of Houma. As you enter Houma, look for local signs indicating the direction to Mapu'a Vaea Blowholes. Once you see the signs, carefully follow the path towards the coast. The blowholes are located along the shoreline, and you may need to walk a short distance off the main path to get to the viewing area.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle in Neiafu and start your journey by cycling south along Hala Sia. The ride is about 7 kilometers to Houma. As you arrive in Houma, keep an eye out for directional signs to Mapu'a Vaea Blowholes. Once you spot the signs, park your bicycle safely and continue on foot towards the blowholes, which are located near the coast.

Boat
