Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Arima and want to reach Arena Historical Site, start at the Arima Bus Terminal. Head south on the Eastern Main Road towards the Arima River. Continue straight until you reach the intersection at the roundabout. Take the first exit onto the Priority Bus Route, which is also known as the Arima By-Pass Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to San Rafael. As you approach San Rafael, look for Arena Road on your left. Turn onto Arena Road and continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the Arena Historical Site on your right.

    From Arima, you can take a taxi or a shared taxi (maxi taxi) heading to San Rafael. Board the taxi at the Arima Bus Terminal. Inform the driver that you want to go to Arena Historical Site. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in San Rafael, ask the driver to drop you off at Arena Road. The historical site is a short walk from there, just a few minutes down Arena Road.
