Car
If you are driving, start from the main area of Buccoo Reef. Head east on the main road, Pigeon Point Road. Continue along this road for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to JAVA BAY, which is located along this road. There is usually parking available near the entrance, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, look for a taxi or 'maxi-taxi' (a shared taxi) heading towards Pigeon Point. You can catch these from designated taxi stands. Inform the driver that you want to go to JAVA BAY, and they will drop you off at the closest point along Pigeon Point Road. The fare is usually around TT$10-20, depending on your starting point. From the drop-off point, it may be a short walk to the entrance of JAVA BAY.
Walking
If you are already near the beach area in Buccoo Reef, you can walk to JAVA BAY. Head towards Pigeon Point Road, and walk along the road for about 15-20 minutes. Follow the signs, and you should see the entrance to JAVA BAY ahead. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated during your walk.
