From Caroni, drive south on the Uriah Butler Highway (Highway 2) towards San Fernando. Follow the signs for the Solomon Hochoy Highway (Highway 5) and merge onto it. Continue on Highway 5 until you reach the exit for the Golconda area. Turn left onto Golconda Road, which will take you through the town. Follow the signs to the ferry terminal at Chaguaramas. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, you will need to purchase a ticket for the boat ride to Chacachacare Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking at Chacachacare Island, follow the marked trail up to the lighthouse. The hike is moderate and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.
