Car
From the center of Caroni, head south on Caroni Main Road. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you see the signs for Caroni Swamp. Turn left onto the road leading to the Caroni Bird Sanctuary. This road will take you directly to the Caroni River. There is a small parking area available at the entrance. Please note that parking may be limited during peak times, so arrive early if possible.

Public Transportation
From Caroni, you can take a taxi or a shared taxi (maxi taxi) heading towards Chaguanas. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Caroni Bird Sanctuary stop. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes and cost around TT$10 to TT$15. Once you get off, follow the path leading to the Caroni River. It is a short walk from the drop-off point.

If you are staying nearby, you can walk to the Caroni River. From the center of Caroni, walk along Caroni Main Road heading south until you reach the Caroni Bird Sanctuary entrance. It is approximately a 30-minute walk. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
