Getting There

    If you are driving from Mayaro, head northwest on Main Street towards the Eastern Main Road (Highway 1). Continue on the Eastern Main Road until you reach the junction for Sangre Grande. Turn left onto the Sangre Grande Main Road and follow the signs towards Sangre Grande. Once in Sangre Grande, keep following the signs for Manzanilla Beach. You'll eventually reach a road that leads you directly to the beach. Parking is available, and there are no fees for accessing the beach.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Manzanilla Beach via public transport, you can take a taxi or a maxi taxi from Mayaro to Sangre Grande. Look for a maxi taxi heading to Sangre Grande at the Mayaro taxi stand. The fare is approximately TT$20-25. Once in Sangre Grande, you can catch a local taxi to Manzanilla Beach. The fare for the local taxi is about TT$10-15. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will take you to the beach, as some may only go to the town center.

    If you drive to Sangre Grande and park your car at a safe location, you can walk to Manzanilla Beach from the center of Sangre Grande.
