Getting There

  • Car

    From Pitch Lake, head northeast on the main road towards San Fernando. After approximately 5 km, you will reach the intersection with the Solomon Hochoy Highway (Route 2). Take a right turn onto the highway heading south. Continue for about 10 km, and take the exit towards Claxton Bay. Follow the signs for Claxton Bay, and you will arrive in the area shortly.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Pitch Lake, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road. Look for a bus heading towards San Fernando. The fare is approximately TT$5. After about a 20-30 minute ride, get off at the San Fernando Terminal. From there, take a bus marked 'Claxton Bay' which should be readily available. The fare for this leg is also around TT$5. The total journey time may take up to an hour depending on traffic.
