Start at the Point Fortin Market. Head east on High Street until you reach the intersection with Southern Main Road. Turn right onto Southern Main Road and continue walking for approximately 5 kilometers. As you walk, you'll pass by local shops and residential areas. Keep an eye out for any signs directing you toward Icacos. The wetlands will be on your left, just after passing through the Icacos community. The entrance to the wetlands is not immediately visible from the road, so look for a small pathway leading off the main road.

From Point Fortin, locate the bus stop near the Point Fortin Market. Take a bus heading to Icacos. Buses are frequent, but it's best to check the schedule or ask locals for the next departure. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes. Request to be dropped off at the nearest stop to Southern Main Road. Once you disembark, walk along Southern Main Road toward the wetlands. The wetlands should be a short walk from the bus stop, on your left side.
